  1. [...] Haiku time again! I adore reading your reactions to the comic in haiku form, so if you feel inspired please leave a haiku in the comments section. Or you can just wave hi.  It’s all good. This week I wanted share with you the creative genius of a comicker friend.  I’m crazy about Adam York Gregory’s The Flowfield Unity.  If you haven’t checked it out, you really should.  This week’s treat is a Flowfield Unity animation.  You can check out the original comic in strip format here and then watch the animated short entitled The Corporate Machine. Hey, saw this over at Kung Fu Grip (and I have been reading you after the SE webmaster forwarded me your email about GD), and I’ll say that it was rather impressive. I loved the choice of music; your sense of timing is good, too.

    Party on.

I’m dead glad you like the animation… the feedback has been, for the most part, very positive.

This means that I’ll be making a few more of these, though they’ll have to fit in around my comics – they always come first.

Animation was very cool. Found it through the Redeye maillist. The Integrity limitation was particularly nasty. O.o

Heya Ms Hewes, I’m glad you liked the animation…

(For those of you that don’t know, Redeye is a superb magazine aimed at the comics/self publishing market… that I occasionally write reviews and stuff for) You can find their site HERE.
I really like your comics, by the way, and I see you’re at Bristol this year. I’m hoping to make my way down, so I might see you there :)

You are not wrong, it is a boy’s name, unless it’s short for something like Willamena… which I think it probably is.

Either that or I probably just offended someone.

    Cool, glad you liked it.

There’s more on the way too, but it takes forever to get it right. Especially as I’m going for something a bit more abitious this time.

That said, my deadline is the 29th September, so I should be unveiling it this month.
