Oh man, it’s been so long since I’ve been to a concert with a pit. I was really expecting people to mosh for Apocalyptica, but no, sadly not. Maybe Dillinger Escape Plan will generate the energy needed!
This comic reminds me of sign language.
Is that sign language in the comic? Or is that just me wanting there to be hidden messages?
We all like hidden messages.
I’d like to repeat the sentiments of everyone else – these would make good lyrics (as would some of the comments :-
“Bloody nose, black eye, sweating and smashing into people”
“it’s just so fun getting elbowed in the face, and the band is rarely that good. Homage to the mosh pit”
“Oh man, it’s been so long since I’ve been to a concert with a pit.”
With a bit of re-arranging, it’d be a credible song about moshing.)
My cousin Kyle (about 4 years my junior, I was 22 at the time) took me to a punk show at a club in his home town. His friends were in the opening band. They came out on stage to warm up and the crowd got so riled that before they had their guitars tunes, Kyle had a bleeding nose. It was an amazing night.

I don’t find hands too hard to draw since I normally have one in front of me whilst I’m sketching… noses on the other hand, nightmare.
