Good News

My Pals, The Adventures of Loki, opened Huw Stephens’s BBC Radio 1 show last night (technically this morning though) with their soon-to-be-released single Feminine Side.

As always you can listen to the show for free for the next week here.

    Mmm, nice.

That said, a survey in the UK found that most smokers are fully aware how bad their habit is, in fact, the majority of smokers over-estimate how much it will reduce their life expectancy by, often by as much as 5 years.

That begs the question, ‘why do they keep smoking then?’.

I suspect that the answer can be found somewhere between, ‘because it’s still cool’ and ‘nicotine is more addictive than heroin’.

I was at a friends about 2 weeks ago.
    A few ppl were over.
One of the guys said he had been to the docs, done a barrage of tests.
He had 6 months at the most, lung cancer.
    Inbetween puffs of his smoke.
Well I guess he is a dead man anyway.
I feel sorry for his kids.
