Coach-trip blues

I know, it’s a bad pun… That’s the fun thing about the English language, the dualistic nature of most words.

My favourite word, by the way, is ‘cleave’, since it has two completely opposite meanings – to stick together or to pull apart… what’s yours?

Not my favorite, but I do love seeing an ad for “battered fish” and wondering if they’ve got shelters and toll-free numbers.

Ooh, if you like the battered fish adverts, you should probably have a look at my mate Matt’s comics, ‘Chip shop Adventures‘. I’m certain that there must be a battered fish joke in there somewhere…

    Semantics.
It sums up how anal I can be when reading others ppl texts and taking things outta context so that I can misconstrue their words and beat them with them.

“Brackish,” because to me it sounds exactly like what it means.

Ooh, I like ‘peppermint’ and ‘brackish’, two very good words indeed.

If I ever saw either of them pulled out on a scrabble board, I’d be dead impressed.

I would have to say bittersweet, cause it contradicts itself (I think its called an oxymoron, but i could be wrong), or racecar because you spell it the same backwards or forwards.
