Aim for the stars
I can’t believe this is the first reference to Star Wars in The Flowfield Unity… I’m not a fanboy by any stretch, but I can’t imagine that anyone of my age can escape the influence of the force.
Sometimes I like to read back my comics using James Earl Jones’s voice in my head, it gives them gravitas.

He looks sad.
He should, a name like Garth
Any relation to Chad Vader/
For legal/copyright reasons, no… though I would suggest that anyone who doesn’t know about Chad to look him up on youtube.
Truth is, I drew a Darth Vader head on a whim and then added a puny body for fun.
That said, I looked around for names before settling on Garth… originally I wanted him to be called Dave Vader instead (’cause everyone knows a Dave), but it turns out that a real person exists with that name, and is fairly famous in certain circles.
He looks like he’s lost him mum - so cute.
I feel sorry for the guy with the name Dave Vader, i wonder how his school years went by. Had a guy in school named Ben Dover, why would his parents do that to him.
I met James Earl Jones once back when I was in high school. Fell flat on my ass next time while I was getting his autograph because someone, who wasn’t paying attention, literally pulled the chair out from under me. I still wonder if he remembers me because of that.
I’m rather jealous. Not only did you get me meet J-E-J, not only did you get his autograph, but you also got to perform slapstick for him.
I bet he does, remember you that is.
To make it even better, even before I had a chance to pick myself up off the floor, he leans over and looks at me and, in that deep, bass voice of his, says, “There was a chair there a second ago, I swear.” I was mortified.
