I watched a programme last night all about ‘when weather attacks’. I found it amusing and wondered if I will ever see ‘when plants attack’.
I really hope it exists.

We already have carnivorous plants, and I fully expect that they will become much more common and much bigger and much more deadly. Someday we’ll have to fight for our lives…

Only problem about being a criminal tree is that when the cops come to get you, you ain’t going to be running very far, innit?
Double G’s, Bouganvilla , Bindis, Roses, Eucalypts, Gums, all these plants are known for being violent and mounting viscious attacks against nearby humans.
This one reminds me of a Shel Silverstein illustration. Maybe the Mugging Tree is that cousin of the Giving Tree that no-one in the family likes to talk about.
I don’t think we’ll ever see a mugging tree, but we can console ourselves with Triffids.
