The dimmer switch
A little while ago, a regular reader of this comic asked if I might do a strip relating to their blog.
I said, ‘It’ll be a pleasure, I’ll have it ready in a week’.
Several weeks passed and I got lost in animating… but now that I’ve finished, Tada!
So, this made me think. Would any of you readers like me to draw a strip for you, or something you would like to see a strip about?
Suggest away, and all through next week I will try to incorporate as many of them into the strips as possible.

The second panel looks badass.
Kinda like commisioned comic strips, aye?
I’ll have a think, though most of my idea as usually rubbish. how else do you think i end up drawing a comic called “two cats and a squidgy thing”? sometime i really ought to do something with that…hmm.
ah well. i’ll be thinking.
are. are usually rubbish. i just cannot type today.
Do one about emergent complexity in biological systems: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emergence#Living.2C_biological_systems
I know it doesn’t SOUND funny, but all my funny ideas I save for my own comics.
I asked for a GearHead2 loading screen a while back. I’ll do that again now.

I had an idea for a Flowfield Unity comic strip, but I’m going to save that for myself and submit it as fan art someday.
Theoretically, you and I will have our lights
go out far before the sun cools and dies.
A comic idea? I love word games.
Honor an Offer/On her and Off her.
Like that.
I am just narcissistic and mercenary enough to beg you for a strip about my book. I would use it to market myself, of course, but I would also tell everyone: “Look! This guy made a comic about my book!”
Hi Matt, how’s tricks?
Maddie, ‘Two cats and a squidgy thing’ got a laugh from me… it’s a great title.
Joe, that’s home turf for me… I think I can do it. And so it will be.
Joseph, I did start work on one, but it was rubbish… so much so that it even suprised me. I’ll certainly be sorting that out this week.
Seraphine, I haven’t done a wordy based one for a while… I’ll see what I can do.
Golfwidow, no problem.
Each of the posts to go with the strips will be about you, with a link to your sites and such. It’s my (very small) way of saying thank you for reading my comic. Did you know that I passed the 100 strip mark some time last month? It passed by me without so much as a flicker.
Yay, 100 comic strips! Well done adam!
And thank you. The squidgy thing actually exists. he’s purple, has an amazing expression for something with a pair of eyes and no limbs or mouth, has pruple/bluey hair, came from greece and his name is hubert. He’s my little minion, who much enjoys doing impressions of John prescott as he’s pretty fat, as squidgy things go.
And I’m still thinking. I’m wondering if you do can do people talking, as i have some fairly funny things me and my mates have talked about, that always end in some random classic one-liner. perhaps..
once, my friends and i were discussing what kind of weddings we wanted, dont ask me why, we’re not those kinds of people. my friend decided her wedding would be a sleepover, and everyone must wear PJs and socks (she is weird). one of my friends said that would suck, and when we asked her why and she replied with, “Well if you don’t wear shoes, you’d get cold feet!” and she didnt even realise what she’d said.
It was the best day of my life.
sorry. the one liners comment just reminded me, is all.
Cheers for this
Don’t worry about the lateness, I’ve not been particularly active myself.
This post (c) Kingreaper: Planning on getting drunk once again.
Do one on jokes that can be made in graph form,
sort of like this one:

at least I like jokes in graph form. they feel secure
The emergent complexity thing reminded me: Intelligent Design Creationism is rife with opportunities to make jokes at its expense. Also as a biologist (with an Eco/Evo background!) it really get5s my goat.
I’m hoping that when my lights go out the adventure begins.
