Underground news wire

The radio and television reception is hell in Hades.

Broadband has yet to be introduced.

But they still need news, the dead, of how things are going top-soil.

And what stories will you take to the grave I wonder?

I will attempt to take thru the info that the dead need to rise up and take over the world of the living.
I will be the general over-lord of the undead army.
Yes, I think that this will be for the best.

Actually, why does one of the ghouls look like Monty Burns as an alien?

I’d like to say it’s a ‘homage’, but in all honestly I think The Simpsons may have been on in the background whilst I was drawing.

I’m a bit suggestable like that.

I would tell the dead that they are not missing much. War, famine etc….. is still going on and they are probably better off without it all. That sounds like a rather grim view of life, but I just wouldn’t want the dead to feel left out!

I imagine hell is a bunch of computer geeks who do nothing all day but write spam and create viruses, worms, and spyware that they upload to our computers.

What makes it hell for them is that they have to do all of this using a 14K dialup modem.

I think if anyone is aware of how much famine, war and pestilence we have, it’s the dead.

‘So, how’s it going up there?’
    ‘Y’ know, the usual’

A 14K modem is more of a purgatory thing… or maybe it just seems that way when you’re waiting for a page to load.

i do not think that hell can be full of spam-writing computer geeks, because surely, for said geeks, writing highly annoying emails to those who dont know how to stop them (if they can get here from beyond the grave they can surely get through all the filters!) would be close to a geeks idea of heaven? oh, and add in some hot babes. super paper mario, anyone? video game references?

    …no?

Hell is made up of a long table, with people sat all around it ready to eat. they have the food, they have the cutlery. but, the only cutlery they have is giant chopsticks, so none of them can eat.

Heaven is exactly the same, but the people have learnt to feed each other accross the table.

I loved that idea of Heaven and Hell when we were told it in assembly.

and what stories would i take to the grave?
I don’t know, but hopefully, someday, the stories I’ve written and had published as an Author..well, it might happen.

my message would be that things are the same we just do things differently but basically people are as they have always been - good and bad - tecnology is the same good & bad - so nothing has really changed. That sounds very negative but it seems to me that we never learn from our mistakes.

i’d incessantly pester anyone who had died after myself to tell me about the scientific advances that had been made
