I'm an ideal candidate for someone that could live their life through computers. I fit the demographic very well. I could eat, sleep, shop, work and socialise using only computers and then create through them too... it would be very easy for me to be like that... Indeed, I was like that... but there was something missing and I've been trying to remedy it ever since. The point is, I think, that I wondered how much of my digital life was me, how many of my accomplishments were down to skill not application and the only way to find out was to start using my hands (and sometimes my mouth, when I run out of hands... stitching books requires a minimum of three). I think I've got pretty close to a happy balance. I enjoy my time online much more these days when I know that I'm here for my own enjoyment rather than a compulsion, and I'm much happier sat working on a computer than I was when all I did was just that. As for pimping my books though, that's coming soon enough and there will be no subtlety about it...
