Mach Turtleneck. Ha. I love the word "mach." And things that go faster than the speed of sound. Coincidentally, one recent strip of my comic dealt with the subject. Definitions are so open to loopholes... I keep wanting to pronounce it Germanically, though, with the guttural "ch." But when I do, people look at me funny.

In a sentence….

“I was at that sick gig last night and got totally mached on shooters, then some fucktard glassed me and mached my face, but it was ok. my girl took me home and mached me”

(hint: “mach” is basically just “fuck”)

You can also talk about a car using the term “mach”. but it sounds weird.

OK, I quit. I didn’t read the others before I did this. I actually was shown inkblots when I was a kid. I was told it was a kind of an intelligence test. The inkblots were a lot of colors.

That’s true… great depth to the characters, but I thought it was a bit… overly dense? That, combined with the dialogue’s lack of believability and the subtle misogyny/racism made me not like it overly much. But I can see what everyone else loved about it, and why it was such a hit at the time.

I actually read it for a class, but it was a relatively enjoyable book. It was very deep…the character nuances, as well as the characters themselves. I enjoyed it, but it isn’t likely that I’d recommend it to a friend.
I can clearly see “Arthur Winner Junior” at the top of the page, not quite covered. That’s how I knew

I used to use “hella” heaps in my general speech.
I don’t any more because I use “mach/mached” and “fuckloads” to replace it.
