Cracks me up
I made my new year’s resolution some time towards the end of last year: I was going to spend less time working and more time making things. It’s now nearing the end of January and I find I have three jobs, a full-time university course and a nice line in music videos.
I’m not complaining. In these economically difficult times I feel blessed to be overwhelmed with work, really. However, getting everything to fit in is difficult. Stressful even.
So, I figured I need to merge some of these things to save some time, and one option I have is that I show you some of the artworks I’ve been making during my course. Not all of them are funny, and some of them are even in colour… but first I wanted to know how you felt about that.
Also, as always, I’ll be showing off my video work here too. Here’s one I made earlier…
But above it all, I have to remember my reason for starting this comic, which was to use it as a place to relax and get away from all other other stuff, the grind, and do something that amused me.
With that in mind I’m asking you to show me stuff that amuses you, funny videos, pictures, whatever does it for you (within reason). And I’m going to share two of my current favourites:

I like the way that he picks up speed, starting at a canter and working up to a sprint.

And The LOTR voice-over is puerile, I know, but that has to be my least favourite scene in the entire thing and to see someone dub it as it appears is genius.
And I should say thanks since Super Broker was your find and I’m still enthralled by it.
That animation is fantastic. I could watch it a hundred times.
And the Super Broker ad is asking for a Waiting for Guffman-esque send up.

I’m picturing an internet meme archeologist… sort of like Indiana Jones but with really thick glasses and a USB cord rather than a bull whip.
